Dr. Crow provides evidence-based care for children, adolescents, young adults, and their families. She has expertise in the assessment and treatment of anxiety and depression as well as co-occurring behavioral difficulties. Additionally, she has extensive experience working with individuals with chronic and acute medical conditions such as elimination disorders (including toilet training difficulties), gastrointestinal/urological problems, headaches, chronic pain, arthritis, diabetes, and sleep concerns. She is licensed within the state of Maryland and authorized to provide telehealth appointments to clients in PsyPact participating states.

Lindsay Crow, Ph.D.

Dr. Lindsay Crow, formerly Dr. Lindsay Borden, is a licenced clinical psychologist practicing in Columbia, Maryland. Lindsay received her Bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Delaware and completed her Master’s degree in psychology from Loyola University Maryland while working at Sheppard Pratt of Howard County. She completed her doctoral training at the University of Missouri before returning to Maryland for her clinical internship at the University of Maryland Medical Center and one-year postdoctoral fellowship at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine (JHU SOM). From 2017-2021, she was a full-time faculty member at the JHU SOM providing clinical services, conducting research, and teaching psychology and psychiatry trainees. As a member of the Pediatric Medical Psychology team, she served as the primary behavioral consultant for Pediatric Gastroenterology and Pediatric Rheumatology and was the behavioral director for the Pediatric Multidisciplinary Chronic Constipation Clinic.

 

Lindsay’s background includes extensive training and experience with evidence-based approaches rooted in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Parent Management Training (PMT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI).  Her experiences providing clinical service and consultation within medical settings have resulted in an understanding of the profound connections between physical and mental health and the application of evidence-based frameworks to support coping with chronic health conditions.
